Precision Babbitt manufactures new babbitted bearings. Working to customer specifications, we manufacture new babbitted journal bearings, thrust bearings, and combination journal-thrust bearings. The bearings pictured here required machining accuracies of .0005" - .001" on diameters up to 22", babbitt surface finishes to 16 or better. Material used for shells are normally mild steel, bronze, or cast iron.
